Tiger Woods Finishes Last In First Tournament Back In 4 Months

WINDERMERE, Fla. (CBS Tampa/AP) — Tiger Woods tied for last place in his return to golf after four months and found at least one reason for optimism. At least he has his health.
Except for flu-like symptoms on Saturday when he ended up vomiting on the golf course, Woods made it through 72 holes of the Hero World Challenge by swinging as hard as he wanted without feeling any pain. In his eyes, that far outweighed the shocking sight of so many duffed chips...

ESPN is still in love with him, though, giving him plenty of time to tell everyone how good he felt, even though he played poorly. They are as invested in him as the Hero motorcycle company in India is.

I think I could manage to in last in just about any pro tournament. I’m as good as tiger now(at golf that is).

Even though he tied for 17th, it was his best finish of the year. Woods tied for 25th at Doral in his final tournament before back surgery.WTF! There were only 18 players in the entire field and he finished in a tie for 17th. OTOH, it is a better finish than 25th place but c'mon, what type of reporting is this?
That's as looney as saying he was the best husband his ex-wife, who has only been married once, ever had.

yea...horrible for Tiger...he finished even par for the event...only 18 players total, compared to much larger fields in other golf events.
The guy has all sorts of personal issues, physical issues (steroids? maybe), but he's still a very, very good golfer.
