If I didn’t know any better, I’d think W was trying to utterly scuttle Jeb’s chances.

America is not well-served by political family dynasties. Together the Clintons have had significant impact on American politics at the federal level for over 20 years. The Bushes for longer. Counting HW Bush's time as Vice President the Bush's have had direct access to the White House and the Executive Branch for 20 years. Again counting the HW Bush VP years, the Bushes and Clintons have been in one of the top two spots in the Executive Branch for a combined 28 years out of the last 35 years. Not too surprising GW Bush would designate Hillary as his sister in law.

I wish he’d shut up. As the Bush’s age they always get so sentimental and say sappy things about the worst people.

You have to REMEMBER The Bushes, Romneys, Christies are just
Democrat lite. Obama Hussein just built on the errors of the Bushes (and Clintons).
Only Cruz or Walker or somebody like them can save America.
NO ONE from Boner or McConnell’s “rat pack” can.

Agenda wise they’re all same agenda so yea Da Bush likely does feel comfortable with the Clintons and for that matter likely Obama as well. Much like Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, John Boehner, and McConnell, all basically share the same agendas.

This is one of the many things I can’t stand about the Bushies....they seem to think that all this is about THEM - and how THEY get along with the Clintons, etc. How brain dead. How arrogant. How out of touch.
The GWB flaw that got very little recognition - his insufferable arrogance that was hidden by a phony self deprecating personality at times. The man is very arrogant.

I have a sister-in-law that’s rather like Hillary. Progressive, snarky, can’t be trusted. And the list goes on.

W, I understand. I don’t much like my sisters-in-law either.

“Right, but Wrong”
“When Ann Richards was governor, Texas Republican party chairman Fred Meyers barraged her administration with criticism and prepared the way for George W. Bush to defeat her last November. Now that Bush is governor, he too is the target of barbs from an angry state party chairman. Only this time its not the opposition party thats sniping at himits his own. The new leader of the state GOP, a four-time loser for public office named Tom Pauken who forced Meyer out of the job last June, has criticized Bush for appointing conservative Democrats to high-profile positions in his administration. A Pauken ally with the State Republican Executive Committee even proposed a resolution critical of Bush.”
