Will GOP's control of the South play significant role in 2016 races?
FoxNews ^ | December 08, 2014 | Unknown

The defeat Saturday of Louisiana Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu was essentially the final act in the Republican Party’s control this fall of the South -- a transition expected to have a significant impact on the 2016 White House races.

The victory by Republican challenger and Louisiana Rep. Bill Cassidy means that Democrats in January will be left without a single U.S. senator or governor across nine states -- stretching from the Carolinas to Texas.

And GOP runoff victories Saturday in two Louisiana House districts ensure the party of at least 246 seats, the largest Republican advantage since the Truman administration after World War II.

Furthermore, Republicans in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas will control nearly every majority-white congressional district and both state legislative chambers.

Well, I hope the Southern legislators pass laws making voter fraud a serious felony with significant monetary penalties and jail time for convicted persons and especially organization leaders.

and I hope that Southern executive leaders enforce those penalties to the maximum extent of the laws.

FReeper Enterprise insightfully noted: Democrats have a fine strategy and should "stay the course." Keep shoving Ferguson and illegal aliens in our faces....and the rest of the party's anti-family, anti-energy, anti-Christian nonsense. And make sure Al Sharpton, Sheila Jackson Lee and Elijah Cummings speak for you in coast-to coast media outlets.

=================================================

The midterm sweep left 1-2 slivers of coastal territory and splotches of interior to Dems. Dems have literally "hundreds of votes" under their control (/snix).

Democrats now control votes in the inner city, gangland strongholds, sleazy Hollywood motels, landfills, Indian reservations, pineapple plantations, fast food joints, Boston beaneries, coastal clam shacks, surf shops, flop houses, gay bathhouses, and payday loan mills.

What the Republican takeover looks like as of midnight 11/5---Alaska and LA went Republican later.

The national revulsion caused by the lies and deceit of Obamacare are still resonating. Obama lied and lied-- the sycophants around him lied----and they are still lying.

The universe of lies to promote Obamacare----and the rest of the Democrats' anti-America agenda----has infected the entire body of US law.

We are still being given false information in order to disguise the unrelenting failures of Obamacare.

In the diseased minds of Obama and his acolytes, chaos itself was the goal----to destroy what existed to give rise to the Democrats' New Order.

The so-called "Affordable Care Act" is more revolutionary than the administration is admitting. It is truly a policy based on chaos. Obamacare never needed to work. It only needed to obliterate everything else.

Americans are totally revulsed....and showed it at the voting booth on November 4. Obamacare has proven to be the Democrat Party's death knell.

Seems to me that we were told by all of the pundits that the GOP would soon become nothing more than regional party.

Is this map showing that the Commies are denoted in RED?

Map is wildly misleading because acres don’t vote.

Fun, but don’t take it seriously.

The Democratic Party’s strategy has recently been based on the theory that they can count on getting close to half of white votes and the vast majority of minority votes.

If the first part of that is falling apart, they’re in real trouble.

Racial politics does not necessarily work in their interests. According the the Derb, and I agree, America has always functionally had two races: black and non-black.

Liberals have for decades pushed the opposite notion, that we are divided into two groups consisting of whites and “people of color.” But I think that notion is falling apart.

Not until the South gets control of the GOP.

True, but that's not how the electoral college works. The population density is much less in strongly conservative states than in liberal states.

Hillary is a nagging pain, but she is a very familiar nagging pain, and the Republicans don't have a candidate who comes close to that degree of familiarity with most people who aren't political junkies. If she runs (and I think she might still have some trouble walking) she is going to be very difficult to defeat.

Yeah---the Clinton lay awake nights fine-tuning their "message."

They will say, and do, anything to climb back into office.

They are beholden to a lot of people who have made them multi-billionaires.

All their big money contributors are salivating for payback---waiting for the presidential pen to repay them w/ plenty of interest.
