it’s crazy, they seem intent on denying themselves any political gain.
So easy to pass a short CR and then come back in January and send Obama the appropriation bills they’ve already written- with a few riders. Obama couldn’t win that ‘shutdown game’ no matter how hard the media tried to help.
They do not define political gain in the way they have led their voters to believe.
These people are completely false.
Political gain to the GOP is making their voters think they did something, when they did nothing other than advance big government.
