I saw the interview and had two thoughts.
First, Deblasio doesn’t see crime. Its not happening. Cops are just racist.
Second, cops are going to back off. Thats what Deblasio wants. Thats the message. NYC is going to get dangerous.

I swear if I were a NY police captain, I would tell my team to sit back, take it easy, do everything “by the book” and let criminals take over the streets.
De Blasio is an agitator like Obama - he runs against the system he controls, and uses people below him as pawns. NY cops shouldn’t let him get away with it.
That is the ultimate weapon that police officers have in their arsenal.
If street officers did everything 100% by all the BS ordinances and General Orders and processed every citizen complaint without passing over the small crap, every police dispatch system and every court and jail would grind to a halt.
