I realized in 2008 that FOX is to the moderate/statist GOPe what CNN, ABC, CBS, and NBC are to the Democrat party.
Limited government types, whether they self-identify as "conservatives," "right-leaning Republicans," "small-l libertarians" or "Average Workin' Joe," are only represented (and they are legion) in the reader comment sections when enabled.
The MSM, which includes FOX, is a mega-mouthpiece for a political minority in both parties that resorts to vote ginning/harvesting and fraud to win office.
There is a serious and real reason that the Democrat party fights voter ID tooth and nail; as for the Republican party, remember Mississippi. The left has to cheat because if it didn't, its candidates would lose.

Rush did a great job, but he did quake a bit when asked about the Garner case. You would think that with all the staff he has someone would get him the facts. He did reject the idea that it was a “chokehold” which it was not but he called the case “different.” In both cases the grand jury got it right so what was different was the level of resistance. If we allow challenges to police authority to go unaddressed we might as well fold up as a society. Put genuinely brutal and criminal cops in prison, but asking all cops to back down from a challenge is societal suicide.
