President Obama on Sunday sought to calm tensions in the wake of racially charged protests in New York and Ferguson, Mo., saying the nation has made progress on race relations but emphasizing that the distrust between minority communities and law enforcement “will not be solved overnight.”
“This is something that’s deeply rooted in our society, that’s deeply rooted in our history,” Obama said in an interview on the cable network BET.

“We have to be persistent,” Obama said in the BET interview. “Typically, progress is in steps. It’s in increments. When you’re dealing with something as deeply rooted as racism or bias in any society you’ve got to have vigilance but you have to recognize it will take some time and you have to be steady so you don’t give up when we don’t get all the way there.”

The half-Black community organizer/college lecturer, whose only “jobs” were impressing gullible Black women and ignorant college students, has done more to set back race relations than the KKK did.
If he wasn’t stoking the fires of racism, I would accept his words. But he is just pandering now

Perhaps we should focus on the root causes of the insanity that leads some people to be paranoid about other people.
For some of our fellow human beings the abuse of drugs, alcohol and other things disconnects them from reality into some fantasy world where there are “enemies” including “racists” and “bigots” and “haters” out to get them....and based on what I’ve read in the last few days someone made up a story about “rapists” too.
I believe such bad people do exist in the world and quite often they are addicts-alcoholics just the folks who get angry about the imaginary bad people out there.

Racism had nothing to do with either the Ferguson or NY incidents. LEO’s being put in a tough situation by law breakers is the only issue.
By pushing the lie that the issue is racism is: a.) racist itself; b.) fans the flames of racism wherever it currently exists; c.) thus has the exact opposite effect of the stated goal of those pushing that narrative.
So in every way, the lying liberals succeed in making worse the very issue they claim to be addressing.
But actually, this is the case on almost every liberal issue. Thus nothing new.

Because you seem to understand how to solve this problem, could you please tell us when and where in history this problem has been solved before, and how it was solved?
I understand that he does smoke cigarettes and did have some drug experiences earlier in his life.
When it comes to pot, I always say that I inhaled but didn’t smoke because it was all around me at college...
