One teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate in four ounces of water ends my acid reflux in under ten seconds.
On s rare day, it takes two doses. One generally works.
For a few cents, this neutralizes the acid and I go back to being a happy camper.

suffering from acid reflux...Once in a while I get acid reflux, from sleeping in the wrong position and eating certain foods...
It NEVER caused a sore throat, felt more like molten lava coming up my throat...
