Godspeed our Troops around the Globe – especially those in harm’s way – by virtue of their service and sacrifice we continue to live in Freedom!

This is the Arabic character "nun" – the first letter of the word "Nazarene." I post it as my avatar in solidarity with people of all faiths suffering persecution at the hands of Islam. Many of them are members of the oldest of our Christian Communities, dating from the days of the Apostles. They endure cruel, merciless and unrelenting persecution. They are Orthodox and Catholic, Protestant and Evangelical, Coptic, Pentecostal, and Baptist. To the persecutors they, and we, are all "Nazarenes."

The North and west have had some Snow.
Every night is now below zero.
However the Sun has been putting in an appearance during the day.

The Electricity company has been putting in new feeder cables for the Rail network (Rail road) in this area. Road works everywhere, not always very well thought out either....chaos will reign supreme for the next couple of months.
Could be worse. :)
