I was using not my terms, but those of black activists. By their definitions, Obama was raised in about as “non-black” a culture as can be imagined.

The race is Negro. The culture is African-American. Black is a political agenda that emerged post MLK as exploiters like Jesse Jackson played on the emotions of their people and short circuited the assimilation process. Jim Crow with “separate but equal” was replaced with “Black Pride” that fed on resentment and ignorance. Instead of striving to succeed, natural-born American Negros were taught success through victimization as a part of their character. The result has been cynically exploited on the Democrat Party plantation where the politicians have doled out “trinkets” (Obamaphones) in exchange for loyalty and votes. The situation has reached critical mass now as Obama has pushed the situation to the next level by his imperial assertion of power through Executive Orders. We are in the midst of a Constitutional crisis as a result. Obama’s legacy will be ugly.
