On December 6, 1786, Mozart completed his 38th Symphony, nicknamed "Prague".
Here is the scintillating 3rd movement from this Symphony. Check it out:

Mozart died at age 35. I often imagine what music would be like if he had lived another 20 or 30 years.
Mozart died on December 5, 1791 and was buried on Dec 6. He is the greatest melody maker in the history of music, and arguably the greatest composer in history, having mastered all musical genres of his time (symphonies, concertos, dances, opera, serenades, and masses).
Thanks for the post.
I was listening to excerpts of “The Marriage of Figaro” this morning. My favorite part is the end of act 4: “Contessa Perdono!” I marvel at the mind that could so easily conceive such beauty. People who have never listened to a Mozart opera don’t know what they are missing.
Flutes and oboes on the third or fourth row? To each his own. I wasn’t conducting.
Thanks. That was beautiful.
So true. Who doesn’t love to hear Mozart?
Thanks for inspiring me to play some Mozart here on a rainy Saturday in Maryland.
Rock me, Amadeus.
And Schubert died even younger than him: two distinct musical prodigies who left their mark on the world in a fraction of the time it took other composers.
Keep Mozart running in the background of your days -
It will neutralize out a lot of angst from the constant liberal bombardment -
I dunno....Mozart was ok for his time but when you has artists like Mariah Carey you have classic music at it’s best
