Smith has always had a hard time in the long gun business.
Still, I suspect there is a saturation point where everyone who wants a firearm has a firearm.
Does S & W still have quality control issues?
They could not even make the Jennings rifle work after they renamed it the Volcanic.
Sold it to shirt maker Oliver Winchester who did make it work!
They were smart enough to keep the patents on their bored through cylinder pistol that Sam Colt thought would be a failure.
There are better AR clones on the market for less money.
Smith made/makes a dandy sub gun.
