On Monday, a group of students and activists took down the American flag flying at main entrance of the University of Hawaii at Hilo, instead raising the Hawaiian flag that was beneath it. The action was related to what they say is the continued illegal occupation of the Hawaiian Kingdom by the United States. The American flag that was taken down was folded and handed over to university administrators. The group then went over to do the same thing at the flag pole of Hawaii Community College in Hilo. While there, they encountered security.

The thing that gets me is that these Hawaii sovereignty proponents are such a micro minority , and yet they come off so self righteous and pseudo-intellectual and hawaii sovereignty politically correct . I know about 30 Buddhists and all of them are Conservatives.
They didn’t like living under communism before they came here; they recognize that the Dems are just commies in disguise, and they work hard and many own their own businesses.
OK, start with all tuition subsidy. No state or federal support for any school not flying the American flag.

It’s our westernmost flank as a great nation .
We have fought and died for it , it secures the Pacific for the United States and it will remain the United States.
The Hawaiians were the most inept governors , now only rivaled by Obama . This little uprising needs to be put down with a pointy stick .
The US would be a bit more conservative if Hawaii left the union. Good riddance.

When in Hawaii I never met a true Hawaiian. Not once. They were all of oriental decent.
If you have ever actually been to Hawaii, you’d know the natives there live and act exactly like native Americans (Indians) do on their reservations. Same filth, squalor and defective society.
From stuff I’ve read recently, much of the Philippines are astonishingly corrupt. As in Mexico or worse levels.
On one Corruption Scale US is 75, Mexico is 35, Philippines is 38.
