Neurosurgeon Ben Carson stood by his controversial comparison of the United States to Nazi Germany in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Wednesday.
Asked by Blitzer whether he would amend or take back his comments, Carson said "Absolutely not."
Carson made the comments during a March interview with conservative news outlet Breitbart.com. He noted that the Third Reich was "using its tools to intimidate the population," and said that "we now live in a society where people are afraid to say what they actually believe."
"The point of what I'm saying...is a major fundamental shift of power has occurred," from the people to the government, and "if we continue down that road the United States of America becomes something very different than it was intended to be."

Fact is, he's telling the truth. Totalitarianism begins with thought control.
And this man truly, honestly believes that he is the one best qualified to be president of the Nazi States of America?
He’s right.
But without the superciliousness.
Well the modern progressive uses the same techniques that Hitler used to gain power, and never forget Hitler was elected during a time of severe economic depression. These totalitarians all read the same playbook.
OK Ben Carson has some good thoughts, but he is no longer “leadership” material in my book.

He's right. I don't see anything wrong with what he said.
I have been thinking the same thing for years, the US is the 21st century version of the Nazi’s except without the aggressive territorial ambutions.
Heck, the ongoing abortion holocaust is already 10 times worse than what was done to the Jews! and it’s continuing EVERY DAY!
I can almost read the history books a hundred years from now... How did the average American allow babies to be butchered!?! How did they not KNOW ! ect ect the same things we say about the germans today and the Jews.
He is correct in his analysis, but he is also proving he has no business running for President. If you want to win anything, you don’t give your enemy everything they need to destroy you.
Yeah, they never let a crisis go to waste.
How is it controversial to draw an ideological line from the Nazis to modern liberals?
