Wednesday, in reacting to the news that a grand jury declined to indict the New York City Police Officer involved in the chokehold death of Eric Garner, so-called civil rights leader Al Sharpton held a press conference at the National Action Network with the family of Eric Garner.

In the case of the NYC incident, we may simply be seeing the usual corruption of the NYC government. Sharpton should be used to it, having been a part of it for so many years.
“We are not advocating violence. We are asking that police violence stop.”

The race war is here; these protests are because the blacks can’t get past the outer defenses of the taxpayers. They need to de-fang the police to get at the taxpayers behind them.
Soon every “black community” will be without any police protection at all; in any case, most don’t kick in for it anyway.
Yeah we are...it is called lawlessness and joblessness...and a virus called communism...they need to be defeated and can’t be when the president leads the lawless charge.
I'm not saying the verdict should breed violence - but the man was clearly is distress and articulated as much. To compound it, post loss of consciousness lack of medical care was clearly negligent.
Watch the video; when the guy is saying he can’t breathe he is on the ground and there is no “choke hold” on him. The so-called choke hold didn’t have one hand locked on the other arm (a real choke hold); it is more accurately described as a take-down move.
Regardless of the initial crime, the problem was resisting arrest. What recourse is left to the cops?

True. It is a national crisis that the self-proclaimed black leaders push the false story if Broen when he clearly attacked a cop and got justifiably shot for his actions.
