Your statement illustrates your ignorance. Dubai represents a renaissance in the Gulf. Dubai and Abu Dhabi look to the future and are growing by leaps and bounds .
Any world business that is of substance has an office or an agent or some presence in Dubai/ Abu Dhabi. They are taking on the business of business and are a tremendous threat to Europe.
