I had a 2005 Colorado with the I-5. Valve springs began to fail at 45k miles. It was my last GM product.
The I-5 was a total bust IMO. Only known two guys that had ‘em. Both dumped them in anger. One with broken valves and other with engine problems. Don’t recall specifics. Surprised GM didn’t change name when they re-introduced it...
