Just what other “community of color” sees cops as an occupying force?
Only the Black community.
If the “occupiers” (police) withdrew, how long before the community would beg to have them back. Then they would come back in, begin to enforce order, and the complaints would begin again. Basically, they want to have their cake and eat it too.
Newark, NJ is begging for more police after a recent rash of shootings/killings. Christie is sending in state police to help.
