“The science of climate change is unforgiving, no matter what the deniers may say, sea levels are rising, ice caps are melting, storms, droughts and wildfires are wreaking havoc,” - Hillary Clinton

Back in the day, science used to be built with hypothesis, which were then tested against measured data. If the theory did not match the data, the theory was said to have been "falsified."

Not unlike your claim to being the author of this.

Not clear what you mean. These charts are credited to the NOAA, but this is not a published article.

News flash: There could be a 50% increase in lightning strikes across the USA this century due to the warming temperatures associated with climate change.

That could lead to more injuries and more deaths due to lightning — and also more wildfires.

“With warming, thunderstorms become more explosive,” said David Romps, an assistant professor of earth and planetary science at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in California, and lead author of the study on lightning strikes published last week.

BWAHAHAHA!

Very interesting info. I would have thought 2011 would be the worst in recent times, but 2008 was apparently worse.

Not clear what you mean.

You listed yourself as the author.

You made the charts, using data you collected?

No?

Then you aren't the "author" are you?

I credited the NOAA as the source in the post.

See right after the date?

That's where you listed yourself as the author.

And you aren't.

Are there ever tornados in the cold?

Seriously, I’m just wondering.

I thought it had to be warm, like for hurricanes for tornados to develop. Been ten degrees cooler in these parts for most of the summer.

That's where you listed yourself as the author.

And you aren't.

And right before the date is the "source", which says NOAA. You will not find an article on the NOAA site that quotes Hillary Clinton on it, nor does any article on the NOAA site say "Against predictions, tornado count is once again below average, as it has been for the last several years."

Global Warming Activists will predict that the US east coast will be hit by “One To Twelve” named hurricanes next summer, and all will be caused by global warming.

Don't know, but we occasionally get “thundersnow” in winter. It's weird.

Yeah.
And it’s just some odd coincidence that you put your name in the “author” box.

Crazy how that happens.

If you’re directly under the thunderhead, you can get some truly bizarre accumulations of snow with “thundersnow,” too. Think of the torrential downpour from a summer thunderstorm, then translate that couple of inches of rain into snowfall.
