I’m also a fan of Ridley Scott, yet can’t bring myself to see some of his like “Hannibal”. Good work, but occasionally revolting content. Not sure about this one, not so much about the content as it blurring the line with Scripture in my head.

I like some of Ridley Scott's movies a lot. The Duellists is in my top 5 favorites list. As far as Moses movies go, DeMille was pretty fanciful with his film as well. Right at the beginning, DeMille has the Pharaoh ordering the Hebrew slave children to be killed because a "deliverer" has been prophesied among them; when the book of Exodus says the Hebrew slaves were killed because the Hebrews had grown too numerous, and the Pharaoh ordered them killed to thin them out by a generation.

My problem with the new Exodus movie from what I've seen in the trailers is the minimalist acting by Christian Bale as Moses.
