I can understanding filling in details in Bible narratives, if you’re going to make a movie. All the “classic” movies did. However, issues like this are not beyond the grasp of the general reader. Angels appeared in the form of men to Abraham and Jacob. Since the text does not describe such an apparition to Moses, it’s wrong to invent it.

The Bible also says, in Exodus 4:24, that “the LORD met him [Moses],” but again, there is no mention of “men” or “men of God” such as indicates an angel’s appearance in the old the Old Testamant.
