Natural? Accident? Terrorists? Looters? All of the above?I was in Detroit a couple of Friday nights ago for a major outdoor public event, and all the roads around the event were torn up by "DET" with crews doing electrical work in the trenches and it made getting to and parking at the event a chore.
My guess? It is potentially related to these upgrades / corrections to the deficiencies in the existing system...

That would be my guess. The new stretch of light rail right downtown just came online the day before Thanksgiving and my guess would be that its related to that.
As a Michigan resident, I can't help but wonder what the hell is going on in the liberal bastion of Ann Arbor. Their power goes out every time a cloud passes overhead. I'm over here in Jacksatucky county as they so snidely call it and our power almost never goes out.
