Those women were putting themselves at increased risk of injury.

Allowing boys to play on girls' teams puts the other players at increased risk.

It is for one to voluntarily accept additional risk upon oneself - it is not okay to force additional risk on others.

Sorry, the law cuts both ways.

You can’t have women play on men’s teams and then keep the men out of women’s teams.

Also, having a girl on the wrestling team places a high risk on the opposing boys. All she has to do is claim “He touched me in a bad place” and the school (and the guy) is facing a huge ugly law suit. Same with football, basketball, and dang near any sport.
