Farrakhan: 'Law of Retaliation' Applies to Ferguson
In a fiery sermon last week, Nation of Islam head Louis Farrakhan addressed the Ferguson verdict and reaction. In his remarks, he suggested retaliation as means for a just end.
“We gonna die anyway,” Farrakhan said. “Let’s die for something. Elijah Mohammed said 40 years ago, maybe near 50 years ago – there were 20 million of us then – he said if 10 million of us lost our lives, 10 million would be left to go free. Wait, wait. Just think about that. See, when my Muslim family here, Imams and my Christian family – in this book, there is a law for retaliation – a law for retaliation, like for light. The Bible says – an eye, a tooth, a life. As long as they kill us, and go to Wendy’s and have a burger and go to sleep – they gonna keep killing us. But when we die and they die, then soon we gonna sit down at a table and talk about – we tired. We want some of this earth. We tear this goddamn country up.”

I think Elijah Muhammad’s figure of 20 million must be the whole black population of the US at the time, not the membership of his cult. The Nation of Islam was always explicitly about race.
If we went an eye for an eye or a tooth for a tooth as thug Louie says, there would be a lot more body bags with blacks and muzzie in them.
Also, if a white hate group made speeches like this, the FBI would be all over them.

The “Law of Retaliation” - never actually heard of such a thing, but logic and reason would indicate that it involves retaliation against A PARTICULAR PERSON OR PEOPLE who did you wrong...and in our legal system taking the law into your own hands like that, even on a small and particular scale, is called vigilantism and is, uh, discouraged (actually, it is otherwise known as murder or attempted murder, arson or attempted arson, etc.). Louis the nutcase is clearly urging ALL blacks to rise up against ALL whites...as if all whites did something wrong to any particular black person or all black people.
Hey, Louis, why don’t you try telling your people:
1) Don’t rob convenience stores;
2) Don’t assault police officers and try to take their weapon when they ask you questions; and
3) When a police officer, gun drawn, orders you to stop, then for Heaven’s sake, STOP!
Had that thug, Michael Brown, listened to ANY of those three pieces of advice, he’d be alive today. Why black leaders bet all of their chips on scumbags like him, Tawana Brawley or Trayvon Martin, I’ll never know. But if they want any kind of credibility with the majority of blacks, let alone any whites, then they need to get a higher quality (which is to say, actually innocent) victim. Going to bat for this scumbag was a HUGE mistake for Sharpton and Jackson and, now it appears, Calypso Louie. F’ing moron!
FYI, Louie, if there is any kind of mass uprising against innocent people, you can fully expect that those innocent people WILL defend themselves...and many of them have semi-autos with large magazines with which to defend themselves against just such an eventuality. More importantly, they have plenty of ammo and probably not a little practice. So be careful what you wish for, you may get it.
As for me, I think that most blacks are sick and tired of the race baiters like Louie, Sharpton and Jackson. They are the ones I’d like to deal with - reasonable people with a stake in our society, not trouble-making community organizers or “black leaders.”

Yes, but look at who is the Attorney General, and at the political outlook of him and the SPLC (the racist Southern Poverty Law Center - I believe that this is the group to which you were referring).

There is also the case of the missing college student in Philadelphia, where the FBI has come in, but won’t say why. It looks like they suspect some sort of racial connection, or kidnapping. It is unusual for the FBI to enter the search forva 21 year old male in less than a week.
So what is the MO / Federal penalty for riot incitement?
He and Calypso Louie are like opposite sides of the same coin; one using "Christianity" to peddle Black Liberation (A/K/A "Get Whitey") Theology, the other cloaking it in Islam.
Whatever Farrakhan is saying, you can expect Wright to be standing off to the side, nodding in agreement.
