The Simon Wiesenthal Center maintains the best list of surviving Nazis, I just don’t have the link.

If memory serves, the youngest on the list is 88: a private who was a camp guard. None of the SS leadership is alive today, with Brunner’s passing.

The Wiesenthal Center is a joke. They only go after people who are too old, poor and/or sick to defend themselves.

Maybe if they tried to make Soros answer for his crimes, I would have some respect for what they are doing. Right now, there is no honor in harassing those who can't defend themselves.

Precisely.

Brunner was born 1912. If alive today he would be 102 years old. Highly unlikely.

It is fair to say there are no major Nazi war criminals alive today.

Yes you can still find some low level ageing camp guards around, but war crimes trials were originally established to punish the higher ups, high ranking officers and party leaders, high ranking government officials and policy makers. Not low level camp guards.

If this is the new standard for war criminals, I’m sure we could find many thousands of them from the former Soviet Union and among the Chicoms who annihilated many millions more than Nazi Germany.
