You know, I think I get it.

If the reality is that these people are young and are not likely to be locked up for all that long (whether I agree with that or not, you have to accept reality of what courts will do), I could see myself doing something like that. I’d want them punished - definitely. But after punishment has been served...

I believe that God wants me to forgive those who trespass against me. I wouldn’t find that easy to do in reality. Doing this would be me getting closer to that ideal...

And if they turned their lives around, then I could forgive.

Yes, I could see myself doing something like this. If people wanted to call me foolish, I would find it hard to argue with them. But I could see myself doing this.

I agree Naturalman1975.

It’s Mr. Ho’s own money and if he wishes to add a different solution to a common problem then good on him. If the guys actually take him up on the offer then maybe there is some hope for them - if not then they are too far gone and will continue to waste their lives. Either way Mr. Ho shows himself to try and overcome evil by doing good!

I would like to think I could offer forgiveness and the opportunity for restoration. I am not so sure I would come anywhere near to Mr Ho.
