Congressman Charlie Rangel appeared on MSNBC this morning to discuss Ferguson, and expressed how he felt Officer Darren Wilson‘s “total indifference” had set off the entire community. And what indifference is that? Well, Rangel seemed to imply it was an indifference about shooting Michael Brown.
Wilson said in an interview with ABC News this week that he would have done nothing differently in how he dealt with Brown during their now-infamous fatal encounter, and that his conscience is clear. Brown’s parents were particularly disturbed by that, with mother Lesley McSpadden asking, “How could your conscience be clear after killing someone, even if it was an accidental death?”
Rangel said that “you should be sorry when you take anybody’s life” and Wilson’s “total indifference just polarized the community.”
He concluded, “You should, at least, be able to say you made a hell of a big mistake, at least.”

Exactly what part of defending himself against a second attack was a “mistake”? Hmmm???
It is precisely attitudes like yours Charlie that compel people in Officer Wilson’s position to have to revalidate their initial reaction at every opportunity.
If Wilson gave the slightest hint he wished he had done something differently, YOU would twist that acknowledgement into an admission of guilt and a basis for criminal prosecution.
If I have to use deadly force, my intention is to kill, not to maim, nor to make somebody feel sorry. Darren Wilson simply has courage to state his intention, and unlike the liberals who want him to apologize so other criminals are also tempted to attack police officers when they are detained, he simply acted responsibly and isn’t sorry for it.
Why would he say he made a hell of a big mistake, when he’s a law enforcement officer and shot in self defense???? Rangel is strannnnnngggge.
Conservative talk show hosts probably make up half their audience.
Rangel should run for president. He and Biden would make a good ticket, dumb and dumber extreme. They’d get 90 percent of the black vote, and 70 percent of the Hispanic vote, not to mention 90 percent of the 2 percent gay vote.
If someone tried to take my weapon I’d be fairly indifferent about the outcome.

Right. A peace officer who killed a suspect in the line of duty and is under threat of indictment by a GJ is going to open his mouth and possibly give ammunition to prosecutors? Not a snowball’s chance. This is stupid red herring.
So what Wilson said a week ago make Charley ‘The Crook’ Rangel mad back in August?

Well it wasn’t accidental It was on purpose to save his own life. Just as soldiers shoot an emeny attacker to save their own lives and have a clear conscience so can a police officer.
