If the GJ thought that the evidence was ‘conflicting’ then there would likely have been an indictment. As it turns out, the evidence — both physical & eyewitness — was consistent. That evidence showed that the shooting was justified.
Not all the eyewitness accounts. But the certified and reported injuries or Wilson certainly match up. Wilson also had to handle an incident report and account to the police department of what happened, as is the rule for a cop if they get involved in some sort of violent confrontation.
