Ferguson wouldn't have burned had the business owners and locals got on the rooftops themselves and defended their city. Instead, they abdicated their property to the politically controlled law enforcement, and the higher-ups decided to let it burn.
It's not yours if you can't defend it...

Awesome. Those that rely on the state, die by the state. Imagine if there were oath keepers on the roof tops as Hitler’s brown shirts were trying to take over. Would have saved the lives of millions.
