I really do believe that if this had gone down, that whites wouldn’t so much retaliate, but would in fact start breaking links. Whites wouldn’t actively segregate or refuse service, but would simply become more perfunctory in how they interact. Same with other communities. Frankly I wonder how on earth that could have been considered justified.
I wish we would actively disband these groups and start cracking down.
