I agree with your Post 7 comment. I was just going to write, 'huh, whut?' In response to the remark that it 'wasn't the kid, but whatever happened in his life to [be a thug]'...

I grant you that if you are brought up in a bad neighborhood, with a bad culture, with bad parents, you are starting life with many handicaps. Ultimately, though, the 'kid', or person, needs to make his own decisions.

Well for the typical celebrity at least he’s acknowledging that his behavior was not ok. So maybe there’s still some hope for him. It’s at least better than 99.9% of the other comments from celebrity idiots.
