Only people who paid a price were the small business owners, cops, and firefighters who had to work overtime.

There are no real words to describe burning you own community to the ground. Some people do not deserve to live in a community with goods and services.

Taxpayers will pay a price. Just a crazy guess, but I bet they will spare no taxpayer expense rebuilding this neighorHOOD.

Someone suggested, in detail, that such behavior may have been planned: burn down & drive out occupants, cause property values to plummet, then leverage the blighted & abandoned area for seriously high-dollar development. Remember, much of the “protesters” were bussed in and organized. “Huh, what a marvelous & fortuitous opportunity to build that new square-mile sports stadium complex...”
