“Or just by them on the internet where you NEVER have to worry about a UBGC.”
Surely you know buying on the internet does not avoid a background check. I live in Texas and bought a rifle on the net from a gun shop in Kentucky, and it had to be delivered to a gun shop in my town and I had to pick it up there, AFTER they did the background check while I was there.
It does if you are buying from a non dealer. Armslist.com is a great way to find people in your area selling their firearms. Just call the seller up, arrange to meet somsewhere, pay the price and drive away with your firearm. Most sellers require you to show ID or a carry permit but no background check is required. I wouldn't buy a firearm any other way.
Sorry. Forgot the “/s on” notation. I’ve gotten several (now lost in boating accidents) via the internet and each and every one had to go through the BGC. There are places such as armslist.com where private sellers can buy and sell privately. Their choice. But there’s nothing in the NV laws that says you can’t go to an ffl and run a bgc on someone if you want to. You gotta still pay for it if you do.
And, I meant “BUY” not “by”. Doh!
