Wonder how she would feel if the riot wrecked her home or cost her something dear. At the core of every liberal there is the mantra “With my guilt and your gelt, we can do anything!”

Shooting looters is a righteous American experience as well although not currently en vogue.

Thanks, Darlena, we’ll remember you said that.

Time magazine appears to be prepared to descend to the VERY bottom of the barrel to sell its stinking offal.

Darlena just can’t remember if rioting with your legs crossed is patriarchal or not. Time is a joke.

Riots are a necessary part of the evolution of society. liberal commentators think their liberal readers will buy any crap they come up with.

Except they did help you, and they are holding people back. So that blaming someone else for your failures in the United States may very well be an astute observation of reality, particularly as it comes to white privilege versus black privilege. And, yes, they are different, and they are tied to race, and that doesnt make me a racist, it makes me a realist. If anything, I am racist because I am white. Until I have had to walk in a person of colors skin, I will never understand, I will always take things for granted, and I will be inherently privileged. It must be terrible to be obsessed with guilt for being born white, while being smugly elitist at the same time. What an insult to every person, white or black, who came from hard circumstances and made something of themselves in spite of the odds.

"available to those safely in mainstream culture"
Cultural norms are key to a civil and productive society. If you want to live as an outlier to the norms, it has consequences, such as employment opportunities and advancement, family structure, education, housing, and community relationships.
Now what you do inside your own home is your own business, but if you insist on residing outside the mainstream culture both in thought and deed, things won't work out so well for you.

Our culture? Rioting is more of a European thing! Are you trying to prove her point? Peaceful protesting is a luxury only available to those safely in mainstream culture
Rioters in Europe are not part of "mainstream culture". That description would apply to the East European protesters who brought down the communist regimes in 1989. That was peaceful

She really is a muttonhead. Have they completely abandoned critical thinking in schools for inculcation of lefty political cant?
We’ve seen some crazies here, but this one is way out front:
‘The looters are like the founding fathers, and burning McDonald’s is, gee whiz, like the Boston Tea Party.’
Heavens to Murgatroyd.
She compares masked rioters hauling off stolen electronic gear to Minutemen standing at Concord and on Lexington green and our American Revolution.
Good old Time magazine finally jumped the shark. Adios, dirtbags!
