All that he succeeded in doing was scrambling rush hour traffic in Chicago today. “The One” was actually heckled during his speech by the grateful illegals who want no rules or regulations to govern their activities upon entering the USA.
You confuse the terms power and authority.
He has no authority to change laws, but as long as he is black and congress is populated with cowards, he has the power to do anything he wants.

He didn’t just “take action”. He committed a crime against this country and our Constitution and should serve time accordingly.
That is interesting. In the past, he was supposed to sign executive orders on things such as gun control, but all he did was sign the orders making vague references to Federal contractors. There were some other examples as well, but they escape me now.
