Yep, I work on Friday....sounds like both of us are gonna be busy.
I dread it, but at least I work the early part of the day. Just take a deep breath and let it flow and then LEAVE! No looking back! LOL!

That’s my kind of a day! We eat out and I bring my pie home to have later after my nap when I can savor it.
It’s all good.
Though...I keep thinking of all the people in places where the violence has broken out who will have their holiday ruined by thugs and no-goods. Like Al Sharpton and the _resident, who are at the black heart of the violence.

We usually host, but we recently had some new flooring put down, and the house isn’t back in shape. And my mom just turned 90, she still lives independently but maybe not much longer. She said she wanted to host the family for Thanksgiving this year, and I think she wants to because it’s going to be the last holiday that she can host everyone in her own home. My sister & I will go over there tomorrow and get everything ready. My mom has been so spry and healthy she makes me forget how old 90 really is.

I’m not really shocked, but still a bit surprised at how the _resident and DOJ goon and the “revs” are helping foment the burning down of Ferguson.
Burning down your own neighborhood is so stupid. And the family REFUSES to take ANY responsibility for their thug...caught on tape, thug!
This was one of the first Norman Rockwel paitings to catch my eye and tug at my heart strings when I first saw it. Though most of my relatives are deceased, I always set a plate at the table for them to join me on Thanksgiving Day. Isn’t it funny when you realize that once you were one of the young kids in the family, and now YOU’RE the oldest. Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home for Thanksgiving.
