In case you were looking for an actual “war on women” as opposed to some fictional hysteria constructed for the entertainment of daytime cable news soap operas, you might want to take a look at Turkey. The new president of our “ally” in the region near Syria, Tayyip Erdogan, decided to opine on the subject of gender relations this week and he really wasn’t worried about mincing words.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said women cannot be treated as equal to men, and has accused feminists of rejecting motherhood.
“You cannot put women and men on an equal footing,” he told a meeting in Istanbul. “It is against nature.”

Like it or not, he’s right: There are some serious differences between men and women and only the people who suffer from political correctness deny a truth that’s immediately obvious.
Well there is equality of value, which is true, and then there is interchangeability, which is Marxist BS.
As a woman, I ought to be offended. Actually I am, but mostly because he is a Muslim and in a Muslin country, I do believe he thinks women are less than human compared to a man. Fit to serve their men as slaves, not as partners.
In western countries, however, this equal/smequal talk is somewhat meaningless. The Feminists have smothered the word so as to render it so. Equal to them is identical to being the same. Men and women are not the same, and nothing can change that, and we should not want it to be changed. It makes the world go around, so to speak.
Thank God that we have men and women. It spices up the world, and renews it when new life is created.

But he is a kind and gentle Muslim man. He only beats his wife when she really, really makes him mad.
It bothered me when the female tennis players demanded at Wimbledon that they receive equal pay.
I agreed until the promoters gave them equal pay without making them play 5 sets.

That is true. Unequal does not mean inferior, however. It does not mean that women should be sold off like animals, stoned to death for matters of “honor,” or be sexually mutilated. They should not be married off at young ages to old, lecherous men who will mistreat them and force them to become mothers at obscenely young ages. This is not the dark ages. There is no need to girls to become pregnant so young.
Until I see one starting as an interior lineman in the NFL...

Not identical.
But equally worthy of respect and equally responsible for their own conduct. Both wonderfully made in God’s image.

He’s CLEARLY RIGHT. I don’t have much respect for Muslim countries, but I definitely respect how they deal with gender differences...and it may just be how they eventually take control of the entire world.
