Michael Brown: Baby Huey on quack.
The statists are always banging the drum about how the most important thing is that LEOs make it home safely at the end of the day.
That’s all patrolman Wilson done did.

An associate of mine is retired Florida Highway Patrol and told the story of when, early on in his career, he was called to a disturbance at a biker bar late one night. As he pulled up, a monster of a guy was staggering across the parking lot heading for his bike. Mike pulled up to him, got out and informed him that he wasn’t going to be leaving on his bike but if he had a buddy he could get a ride home from, he’d see to it that his bike was taken care of.

The long-haired and bearded ape-man (standing about 6’-6” and about 350lbs) smiled at him and said, “F-you!” and proceeded to try and get his leg over the bike. As he did, he stumbled a bit. Mike (a small-ish but feisty former DB for a major FL university - as he would laughingly say, back when white guys were fast) called for back-up and reached up and grabbed the big fellow’s shoulder to steady him and told him again and added the warning that if he didn’t find another way home, he was going to jail for the night.

The biker turned and pushed Mike away and stumbled into the gully by the highway, got up on the other side, almost fell into an on-coming car and proceeded to stagger away down the road. Trying to think of anything beyond physical force to stop the guy because he knew this guy could not be overpowered even as drunk as he was, Mike came up behind him and told him he would personally take the guy home if he came along quietly. The guy spun around with a huge grin on his face and bum-rushed Mike and knocked him to the ground. Mike scrambled to get to his feet but the biker grabbed him and picked him up in a bear hug.

Mike found himself in a real life or death struggle trying to gain the upper hand on a guy twice his size, weight and strength. As the biker was trying to squeeze the life out of Mike, Mike had managed to get his arm free enough to reach his holster. He told me, when he thinks back, it was like a scene from a movie. The big ape-man was laughing and grinning broadly just knowing he was going to squash the little cop. They were literally nose-to-nose staring into each other’s eyes. Then, the biker, wild eyed, drooling and breath stinking of whiskey, suddenly felt a muzzle against his temple. Mike said, “Now.... your choice is jail... or the cemetery. Your call.”

The biker’s eyes bulged and he let out a laugh, immediately dropped Mike and proceeded to lay face down and spread his monster arms and legs, giving up. Mike said he sat back to catch his breath and told the biker to stay right there and relax, he’ll be with him in a minute. The biker passed out while waiting. When Mike’s back-up arrived a minute or two later, upon surveying the scene, they thought Mike had shot the guy.

My friend, Mike, added in retrospect, he thanks God every day that he didn’t pull the trigger.

If he feels like a five year old, he should no be a cop.

I'm not sure what your problem is but I bet its hard to pronounce.

...when he and the 18-year-old allegedly engaged in a struggle inside the officer's vehicle that preceded the deadly shooting.

Well if it was an alleged struggle then it was an alleged shooting of an alleged 18-year-old who is allegedly dead!

Race baiting press whores are no service to this country.

I agree with the posts here—But wanted to say today’s Grand Jct.Co Daily Sentinel published a story page one of a drive by banana. A man walking across a bridge pointed a banana at two cops who report they feared for their lives, he faces 100,000 fines plus all the other BS for his “joke” My response I Never saw a yellow gun—I never hope to see one—but I can tell you anyway I’d rather see than be one. (the old purple cow verse updated) The whole dang world has gone freaking INSANE!

I agree Furhman is one of those detective that has a very strong analytical brain. Yes many detectives learn their skill thru training but there are a few that has both training and a born gift to analysis. Matk happens to have both. If any of my family were murder I want to see Furhman on the case.
