It depends on whether NG was called out as front-line troops or as back-office workers to free up police (who are supposed to be better trained for non-lethal intervention).
Adding guns to a mixer like this is a mistake if the gun holders are not trained in the applicable rules of engagement.
Shouldn’t be a call to anything. Obey the laws! Period! (Well, at least if you bend them, don’t break them!)

I believe in the truth and justice.
When a man attacks a police officer, the officer is justified in defending himself.
Native American cop, Korean assailant...
Croatian American cop, Caucasian assailant...
Doesn’t matter to me.
...but it does matter to those who are racist and seek any opportunity to bearing false witness as a means of getting stuff.
The answer lies in addressing the culture of the community that produces the criminal and that is in no way limited to one race or the other.
Maybe the Democrats should introduce a "Restoring Community Confidence in Law Enforcement" bill which will stipulate that whenever a member of the African American community is killed by a law enforcement officer on duty, the grand jury must indict said officer, if said officer is of the Caucasian race.

Has any information come out on whether or not the vote was unanimous? If it wasn’t the breakdown would not necessarily be on racial lines. A number of the witnesses who corroborated Darren Wilson’s version were black.
Nixon was looking ahead at a US Senate run in two years.
I think it got fatally singed in Ferguson.
