I always thought "shutting down the government" was a very Rock n Roll thing to do. Imagine - the people bringing the government to a halt because of its over reach into our lives, to include onerous taxes and regulation, healthcare, toilet bowl capacity and what light bulbs we can use. Add to that, spending more money than what is brought in thru legitimate tax collections. This spending including the defense of the nation, many many people on welfare as well as the study of shrimp on a treadmill.
If the Pubs had a spine and a decent PR firm, they should be able to make the case with confidence.
