Wilson should strike first. Seeing as how the kids was a minor, the parents are liable for Wilson’s injuries and personal losses stemming from the incident.

Agree. Wilson should sue Brown's estate for damages. With all the T-Shirt and memorabilia, there should be something. Wouldn't it be awesome if Officer Wilson got a cut of every Gentle Giant T-shirt sold!

Michael Brown was 18-he was an adult, not a minor, so his parents are not responsible for his actions. But they may be responsible for running their mouths to incite violence and other such things that could be grounds for a civil suit.

I don’t doubt that win or lose, Wilson will sue someone-as he should-his ability to pursue his chosen profession has pretty much been ruined...

"Seeing as how the kids was a minor,"

Actually; he was 18 (legally an adult). But the way the media keeps pimping the "unarmed teen" narrative; it has become ingrained into everyone's consciousness that he was a 'minor', which is exactly what the media is trying to do.

If they were objective; they would accurately describe him as the 6'4", 300lb, fully grown man, whose sheer physicality can be used as a very effective and lethal weapon against a smaller victim.
