That’s funny because I’ve just noticed hearing a huge increase in police sirens here in Grand Rapids, MI over the past hour going in every direction. And all of a sudden my police scanner app doesn’t have the local PD link visible.
Now it’s extremely windy and wet outside, so it may be downed power lines or car accidents, but it’s something for me to think about. Not expecting anything here. People here eschew that type of behavior.

How do you get police scanner app?
I've been visited twice by local police because they can not get in touch with my next door neighbor. Police have a warrant for her arrest but can't get in touch with her.
The second time they came out they asked me the usual questions (had I seen her lately; had I seen any activity at her house, etc.), then thanked me and said go back inside they were going to run lights and siren - just ignore it and stay inside. They could hear someone in the house but no one would answer. AFAIK no one came out so I'm wondering if the police will come back out to serve the warrant. She did not show up for court date - crime was animal cruelty.
Would be neat to keep tabs on police scanner - because I am nosy and be cause her bahaviour has pulled me into the whole deal. She holds me responsible because I talked to the police. What should I do - hide in my house and not answer the police's knock on my door.
Older neighbors have told me "she's not right" and some such.
Info on police scanner may give me all the heads up I need - because I have a feeling "she's not right", too.
The tv just had an emergency system test. Haven’t had one of those in a great while. Smells like hussein is testing all communication systems for when he makes his Dictator for Life announcement.
