A grand jury has reached a decision on whether to indict Darren Wilson, the white Ferguson, Mo. police officer whose fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager sparked days of turbulent protests, sources close to the process said.

Sources said that press conferences are being prepared by the county prosecutors’ office and the Missouri governor. Those press conferences will likely come later today.

Seems like this should have been resolved rather quickly. Either there's clear evidence to bring it to a trial, or there isn't. The dog and pony show only helps the racists in their exercise.

FTR, my home is in Los Angeles and I watched my city BURN after the Rodney King verdict.

We were terrified that the out of control rioters would make it to our area while the police were ordered to stand down - or weren’t around at all. I had to drive to work near all the mayhem every day. Where I work was reduced to rubble.

I well know what it is to live through civil insurrection.

How about attacking a government that allows and/or encourages these feral animals to tear apart our civilization?

I hate that this is happening but the rest of the country has to see the consequences of electing democrats. The lack of a moral clarity from the leadership on down has led us to this moment.

We no longer live in the time that the founders envisioned and too many people have too much invested in government. I wish we had a Republican party that spoke more to individual responsibility and the morality that is required to participate in and govern a civil society. Our country thirsts for leadership because it has become a nation of followers. I fear what comes after this.
