Michael Sam, the NFL’s first openly gay player, would have preferred not to come out the way he did before the NFL draft last year.
“If I had it my way, I never would have done it the way I did, never would have told it the way I did,” says Sam, a former all-star at the University of Missouri, in GQ’s latest issue.

Trying to extend his 15 minutes. Considering no team has shown interest in him since Dallas cut him from the practice squad he is most likely through as a NFLer.
I think what makes him angry is that ESPN and the MSM told us that we needed to care about this and it turned out nobody really cared.
Bullsqueeze. You (Michael Sam) went along with the whole media circus and actively participated in it. You did exactly what you wanted to do thinking that it would open a multitude of doors to you. You actively participated in being pimped.
