Wasn’t this pretty much what Rudy Guiliani said and the liberals went nuts?

Pretty much.

“in part because minority communities typically are subject to more crime.”

They are subject to more crime due to the people that live there, the crime isn’t caused by middle class whites invading the ghetto you racist bastard!

Over 90% of police time and resources are spent in black communities in the average large city.

Non-black citizens are sick of paying to maintain police departments so police can babysit the black community.

Neighborhoods should pay for their own police protection.

By neighborhood.

That way a black community could have all black officers. Or NO officers.

Black police could be told NOT mess with 300 pound thugs who rob stores. "Kids" will be kids, right? Everyone steals, right? The NAACP will be thrilled. Black cops (paid for by the black community) will be told not to stop anyone who looks criminal. Why make thugs feel sad?

Black Community Leaders will be able to make any call they want BECAUSE THEY'LL BE PAYING FOR THEIR OWN POLICE PROTECTION... OR NO POLICE PROTECTION... Rob a store in 'the community' and maybe the cops will be instructed to drive the getaway cars. Whatever. They pay for their own 'protection' and we pay for ours.

Police protection BY neighborhood - costs tacked onto electric bills.

Funky neighborhoods don’t create funky people.

Funky people create funky neighborhoods.

And they prefer it that way.

I doubt Skippy has ever lived in a marginal, high-crime neighborhood. I have. And when I tired it of it, I moved to a house on a hill in the suburbs, thinking I was finally safe.

The family across the street was related to Michael Jackson, and were very well off. However, they would occasionally host large weekend parties, and our cul de sac was jammed with the cars of their guests.

And the following Sunday morning, the battery was gone out of my old Ford F100 pickup. Twice.

Coincidence?

There sure are more crimes committed in the White House since “minorities” occupied it.

Well then, that’s Obama saying it. He is stereotyping himself.

It seems to me that, the way the Left defines it, you can have “law-enforcement”, you Nazi you, or you can be sensitive to “minority” concerns.

But you can’t have both.

“Subject to More Crime”

As in, something that happens to them - something over which they have zero control - like the weather.

Words mean things.

“Wow; overt racism from the imperial president. Never mind an overtly pro-police-state statement.”

I know. Shocking. Especially coming from the Racist In Chief.

And when the statistics show that the police arrest more “minorities” than white non-hispanics, and, oh, those minorities like Asians, it’s profiling.

Why does he use “minorities” when he means blacks and hispanics of the inner cities? And is he neglecting the American Indigenous on the Reservations?

I hear ya.

Even when bored, White kids aren’t as likely to go around destroying their community. They’re more self-destructive.
