Three men were killed and at least 13 other people have been wounded in shootings across the city since Friday evening.
The most recent fatal shooting in the Ashburn neighborhood on the Southwest Side left one man dead and another wounded early Saturday.

But these Chicago victims? Al Sharpton doesn't give a damn. Neither does Obamugabe.
About 20 black males are killed every day by other black males around the country. It’s been just over 100 days since the incident in Ferguson. Thats over 2000 dead black men.
Getting excited about the handful of cop shootings is like having terminal cancer and being obsessed with a pimple on your a##....
It goes a long way in explaining why the police were on edge the very next day when someone was brandishing what might have been a real gun and aiming it at people.
How is Sharpton financed?
Well he does owe quite a bit of taxes................
The Times reported that Sharpton is still liable for personal federal tax liens of more than $3 million, and state tax liens of $777,657. The companies owe another $717,329 on state and federal tax liens.
But Sharpton argued that it wasn’t possible that he still owed $4.5 million.
“If we owed $4.5 million in ‘08 then how could we owe this now, unless you’re saying that everybody just went to sleep on this and just gave us a pass, which is ridiculous,” he said.

If the people in their own neighborhoods don’t give a damn, why should anyone else?
The media are complicit in downplaying urban, black-on-black street crime. Early last evening we picked up a 15 year old, shot through the femur. He was laying on the pavement in the middle of a street. It will go unreported in New Haven’s news outlets. Yet these same news outlets and the black mayor invoke the Newtown shooting ad nauseum.
And though he said in recent interviews that he was paying both down, his balance with the state, at least, has actually grown in recent years. His National Action Network appears to have been sustained for years by not paying federal payroll taxes on its employees.
With the tax liability outstanding, Mr. Sharpton traveled first class and collected a sizable salary, the kind of practice by nonprofit groups that the United States Treasury’s inspector general for tax administration recently characterized as “abusive,” or “potentially criminal” if the failure to turn over or collect taxes is willful.
Mr. Sharpton and the National Action Network have repeatedly failed to pay travel agencies, hotels and landlords. He has leaned on the generosity of friends and sometimes even the organization, intermingling its finances with his own to cover his daughters’ private school tuition.
