Over the past 20 years, whites and blacks have experienced opposite trends in segregation. Asians, Hispanics and blacks are moving into historically white neighborhoods. Vastly fewer whites live surrounded by just other white people. Whites look around and see multi-ethnic neighbors. They perceive expanded opportunity and integration because that is what they see. And they think everyone else is experiencing the same things.
But a Washington Post analysis of Census data shows that the experience in historically African American neighborhoods of major cities has been far different, as they have remained heavily isolated. Whites, Asians and Hispanics are not moving into those neighborhoods, and blacks who remain there experience persistent segregation.
Indeed, nearly all-white neighborhoods in big cities are now virtually extinct. Nearly all-black neighborhoods, on the other hand, are still commonplace.

Me to. I do not understand all the racial crap I see on the internet and MSNBC and if living in a city means I have to deal with that then I am very happy out in the country. I really do not understand how people can stand to live in a city. I am glad they do so I can be semi-free of all their problems.

The reality is that blacks make and keep their ‘hoods well stocked with ‘hoodRats and other vermin. Their children, and in many cases women, are ill mannered, sanctimonious, and self righteous.
In short, the denizens of such enclaves are lousy neighbors. Who wants the live next door to a she-boon and her destructive and uncouth offspring from as many different fathers....I want them impregnating my daughter? No thanks.
I pay good money in ransom to the government to keep them drugged, housed and fed in those hell holes, so that they don’t come and contaminate my neighborhood.
Just try sharing that anecdote with a typical white American college student today...
Obama’s plan for remedying this is to make the entire country a ghetto.

Whatever, everyone pays through the nose to get as far away from diversity as possible. Everyone!

Segregation is a GOVERNMENT mandated and implemented separation of the races. As such it is abhorrent. We have not had segregation in the US for almost 50 years.
The lack of integration referred to by WaPo has NOTHING to do with racism.
Blacks move into mostly white neighborhoods to get away from the lawless portion of the black community. They know that their children and older members are much safer there. If they are good people they will be welcome anywhere to move.
Perhaps if the mostly black inner-city neighborhoods cleaned up their act and made their neighborhoods a nice place for ALL PEOPLE to live, then more non-blacks would move there.
The Democrat Party can't allow this to happen. It would strike at their electoral existence. Happy, healthy, safe, secure, and self-sufficient people neither need nor want anything to do with the Democrat Party.

American public schools are the greatest instrument of ethnic cleansing ever devised.
I’ll never forget how one of our black friends acted when his car broke down in the middle of Oakland. He was terrified. He called from a pay phone, and a whole car load of us had to go down and rescue him. He was very GQ—would have stuck out in the ghetto like a sore thumb.
20 year old waitresses in Tokyo don’t have to pay extra to live in a “safe” neighborhood. Civilization was a cool idea.

That would be called gentrification, which raises real estate prices, and drives black people away because they can’t afford it. And the leaders of the black community complain about that and claim it’s racist.
And if Whitey McCracker-Honkey moves out of the ‘hood?
Then it’s called ‘white flight’ which causes real estate to drop, the neighborhood goes to crap, the schools become segregated and results in them poorly performing academically. And the leaders of the black community complain about that and claim it’s racist.
If community agitators were to say to their (I'm sorry BLACK) followers..."we are going to do our best to get good jobs in here. Work hard at them and you will succeed. If you fail, it's nobody's fault than your own" then racism would die out in a generation. What is keep in it alive is 1) black people who want to hate white people and want a free ride for what happened two hundred years ago, and 2) White people looking around them and seeing black people that seem dangerous and angry because they have been TAUGHT TO BE SO. And those people are not going to change their minds based on the kind of hate preached in President Obama's one-time church.
Gandhi taught the Indians that the British saw them as inferior "woggies", and the only way to free India was to make the Brits realize that the Indians were just like them. He showed the masses (some of them who were militant killers out for blood) that they needed to get educated, work hard, make something of themselves, and be peaceful. In the end, the Brits became embarrassed by their own bigotry, and they changed their ways, and ultimately granted India freedom. Again, do this, and racism disappears in a generation. Work hard, fit in, be noble. And you can do this by respecting people, respecting yourself, and fitting in. And for God's sake, learn to speak clear "business English". And pull your pants up.
