Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn) revealed on Saturday that Republican leadership, led by Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-Oh), has no intention of resisting President Obama’s executive amnesty that he ordered on Thursday.
“They acted as though the amnesty issue wasn’t even an issue. They said that the President is going to do what he’s going to do, and we are not going to get down in the mud with him. We are not going to engage, and what we are going to do is to talk about our positive solutions on jobs, the economy, education, and manufacturing,” Bachmann said.

I saw some news headline that he did formally sign some order. Whether it would count as an E/O, I have no idea.

Here is where Executive Orders can be found.
There was no EO. There were 2 memos that did nothing to change the law, and requires the executive department employees to follow the existing law.
The media got played. Nothing changed.

That website is not the official record, the Federal Register is. Typically it takes several days for items to appear in the Federal Register.
What did Obama actually say? He said they were NOT going to enforce deportation. They would issue work permits, however that means coming forward and giving all your information to the government, name, birthdate, DRL, address, family members and where you are from.
So they get a work permit for a job, and there will be an Executive Order filed eventually...however? HOW much credence does this whole media event give illegals, as opposed to the law on the books.
Even in doing this, and being sued, Because Congress change the law...what do they have, Obama’s Word, and we all know how good that is!
You keep saying there was an EO.
If there is no EO listed, there is no EO. As of today, nothing has changed from what it was a month ago.

As I’ve just posted here, and as I’ve posted to you today in other threads, it usually takes several days for items to appear in the Federal Register.
There may well be no EO. There may be an EO, as it was reportedly signed on Air Force 1. Within the next several days the Federal Register will tell.
So, how’s that “hold your nose” and “vote for the lesser evils” working out?
People got played.
How long do you wait to decide what the truth is?
If no EO is available, it is of no effect, even if he signed one and it is sitting in his pocket.
No change to immigration.

My understanding is that the memos will cause the agencies to draft regulations, which will then be subjected to public hearing. Eventually, upon their promulgation, which could take mmonths, they can be challenged by the Congress (and those impacted by them).
In other words, there is little (or no) action that might be taken immediately.
They require the executive department employees to follow existing law.
Nothing has changed. Obama is no closer to amnesty than he was a month ago.

If a true Conservative was running, he would publicly announce that “Job Number One” after the Inauguration Parade was to repeal Obama’s immigration EO’s.

Start the deportation procedure for EVERY person who signed up while Obama was still President.

Not one GOP presidential candidate has taken a serious public position against Obama’s “threat” to EO the immigration issue.
