Wait until people have to return part of the ‘subsidy’ (which is really a subsidy to the insurance industry, not themselves) if their income goes up. (But they don’t get supplemental subsidy if their income goes down ... in fact if it goes down too low they may have to pay back all the subsidy because technically they were not entitled to it in the first place)
Remember, the subsidies are based on estimated future income, not actual already earned income. For many people, especially those who buy insurance individually ... the self employed, people on commission, people who have sporadic work on a contract basis) this is hard to estimate accurately.
Whatever Obama’s thugs had on Roberts then, they have it on him now. He has already sold us out, so why change now?
They did however this week release regulations for what a "hardship" would be to qualify for an exemption.
If you live in a state that did not expand Medicaid, one of the hardships is income less that 138% of the poverty level. That comes out to around $18,000 for a single person.

No one ever mentions that the federal subsidies for expanded Medicaid only have two years left before the subsidies expire.
As the law is written, the immigrants are excluded from the subsidies and so are unlikely to be anxious to enroll. On top of that, the illegals who do not pay taxes cannot receive a tax credit for the subsidy. This is a big reason for Obama’s executive action on immigration, to complicate the overturning of the subsidies.
