Republicans should impeach even if they don’t have the votes to remove the illegitimate usurper from office. Remeber what we did to Clinton? We dragged him through the mud and ruined his reputation for all time. We should do the same thing to the piece of garbage Obama.

Whites: 454,000  Blacks: 526,000  Hispanics 314,600

To be fair, Hispanics were about 13% of the populace, and Blacks were about 10% of the populace.

Better to have Obama VETO than sitting on Harry Reid’s desk.

its something they can use to campaign on in the future. Clearly having been tied to Obama this last go around was largely a losing proposition. This issue is big enough too that it will stay in voters minds.

The only thing that changes with the new Congress regarding legislation is instead of dying on Harry Reid’s desk, it will die on 0bama’s instead...

Well I think that detail will allow the Congress to fund the government with individual spending bills... and that will be the end of 0bama. He must die on that hill. So expect some squealing.

When the new Congress is sworn in, expect funding bills with HEAVY bipartisan support to head to the Senate for passage then to 0bama's desk. He will try not to sign b/c he is thru if we get individual funding bills - we can then defund bits of government :) - but it will be exceedingly and increasingly difficult for him to choose to veto [or not sign] funding bills.

The major difference is he will not have Harry Reid protecting him - it will be 0bama and only 0bama who is choosing to do this radical non-funding of government.

Most fundindg bills - and especially the earliest bills - will have ginormous bipartisan support and may even approach a veto proof majority [to wit: this article.]

The accumulated weight of his lies has passed the breaking point. Nobody but the 37% of religious dem believers listens to him anymore - in particular dems on the hill. The "You can keep your plan if you want it, period", Fast n Furious, "You can keep your doctor", Benghazi, "You will save $2500 per year on insurance", wiretapping reporters, the IRS scandal, "not a smidgeon of corruption at the IRS", releasing burgdahl, the beheadings, the increase in troops in afghan, ISIL, ... , ... , and now this amnesty.

He has jumped the shark - and I know there's a big bunch of crybabies on FR who are ready to slash their wrists b/c they don't see anything being done but they can't do anything except wait for the new Congress. THIS congress must keep the government going until the NEW Congress comes in. Then individual funding bills. That's all we got [besides lawsuits - which are forthcoming from several levels - and I continue to bark at the FR wrist-slasher contingent here b/c it wasn't long ago many in the same contingent were crying again that a lawsuit was lame... now they want one? jeez.]

I am not pessimistic - I am sad though that 0bama is here. We'll get 'r done.

“Yep. And the laws that the House passed have been stymied by Reid.”

It sure WOULD BE GREAT if we had a graphic of every House Bill that was DOA in the Senate. And then this one Senate bill as the only one that died in the House (that I know of, maybe a few more...who knows).

People have NO CLUE what the Senate was doing the past 2 years, especially.

Nice quotes from the Dems, now find one saying it’s illegal, which it of course is.

“I am as frustrated as anyone that Congress is not doing its job, but the president shouldn’t make such significant policy changes on his own,” said Indiana Sen. Joe Donnelly.

It was Reid who blocked the Secure the Border amendment to the Gang of Eight's bill. Blame dirty Harry.

Claire is probably concerned that if enough illegals were to settle in Ferguson, Mo., it might cause friction with the current population...

Maybe...maybe not.

They’ve toed the line for 6 years, in many ways I think they did out of fear of retribution from the likes of the regime. Reid and Pelosi throw a lot of their weight around.

Perhaps now, under the incoming GOP Senate they are feeling more secure.

History shows the United States often functions better under a President of one party and the congress of the opposing party.

If they are truly going to split from the Democrat Regime, then we just might be able to swing overrides of Presidential Vetoes. The question then becomes will Reid still have enough power to make them cow tow? Or will they see voters demanding that democrats finally compromise and get things done or undone as the case may be.

I guess we shall see and perhaps we should cautiously throw these 4 a bone to chew on.

Barring enough votes to override a Veto, which is HIGHLY unlikely!

I think more likely than you want to give them credit for...Democrats become the party of "No?" That is the one misnomer they do not want. We'd all feel very differently if we didn't know about all those bills that died on Harry Reid's desk. The President and Reid's records going into 2016 and 2018 won't look so good on them.

Not one of them would want to vote on it. They would rather leave it the way it is. They want to play the fence now. They’ve had years to show if they were conservative or liberal.
